Ross J. Loomis, CFA

Ross leads Evermay’s investment committee and ensures the efficient implementation of its decisions in client portfolios. He also supports advisors by developing bespoke tools to facilitate decision-making when their client’s needs extend beyond traditional financial planning.

My Professional Background

Before joining Evermay, I spent over five years as a senior economist at RTI International, where I led economic research for government and commercial clients. Prior to my time at RTI International, I provided quantitative and qualitative analysis of stocks for Nicholas-Applegate’s International Growth Opportunities fund. I hold the CFA designation.

I graduated from Brown University, with a B.S. in Human Biology: Brain and Behavior and earned an M.A. in Economics from San Diego State University, where I was honored as the Outstanding Graduate Student.

My Personal Life

I currently reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with my wife and two daughters.
I serve as President of the Virginia Beach Rotary Club, where I have been a member for over five years. I’m also the Treasurer of the Princess Anne Elementary School PTA.
