Mitchel B. Schlesinger, CFA

Mitch leads the Equity Investment Committee, which is responsible for the research and selection of individual stocks. He also meets with clients to discuss current economic developments and how they may impact client portfolios. 

My Professional Background

Before joining Evermay, I served as Senior Investment Strategist for Wells Fargo’s Mid-Atlantic region. Previously, I was the Chief Investment Officer for FBB Capital Partners in Bethesda, Maryland. Over my 30 plus years of professional experience, my market insights have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and MarketWatch. 

I graduated from California State University with a B.S. in Finance and earned my M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. I also hold the CFA designation.

My Personal Life

Aside from professional work, I volunteer as Director and Treasurer for the Legal Resource Center on Violence Against Women, a Washington, D.C., area non-profit. In my spare time, I enjoy playing electric bass and guitar. I am married with two daughters and one son.
