Wealth Advisor
Full-time | OnsiteThe Wealth Advisor plays a central role in delivering Evermay’s mission to provide thoughtful, high-quality financial guidance rooted in trust and care. As a lead point of contact for a select group of clients, this individual is responsible for building deep, lasting relationships and guiding clients through life’s financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
This role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a sincere dedication to service. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, a desire to contribute meaningfully to our team culture, and a commitment to supporting each client’s unique goals with personalized, fiduciary advice.

Primary Duties
Client Experience & Relationship Management
- Serve as the lead advisor for a dedicated group of clients, providing proactive, holistic guidance
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning, including retirement, estate, insurance, charitable, and tax strategy coordination
- Collaborate with our Portfolio Management Team to align investment strategy with client goals
- Participate in and contribute to Evermay’s Investment Committee discussions and initiatives
- Ensure a consistently exceptional experience through attentive communication, meeting follow-ups, and thoughtful service
Growth & Business Development
- Actively cultivate new client relationships through referrals, community engagement, and networking
- Maintain relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and look for opportunities to expand our reach
- Demonstrate strong business judgment and a growth mindset while stewarding Evermay’s brand and values
Technology & Innovation
- Embrace and leverage internal systems (e.g., CRM, planning software, client portal) to streamline client workflows and improve service delivery

Qualifications/Skills
- CFP® certification required; CFA® or other relevant credentials a plus
- 3–5+ years of client-facing experience in financial planning, private wealth, or a similar advisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for helping others

Client Service Associate
Full-time | OnsiteThe Client Service Associate supports the Director of Operations & Client Experience, Advisors, and Portfolio Manager(s) with a range of activities including the set-up and maintenance of client accounts; compilation and completion of client, custodian, and Evermay paperwork; review and maintenance of client transactions and activity; and execution of client and Evermay tasks such as asset transfers, and preparation of reports as needed. Seeks to provide ideas for clients, employees, and organizational process improvements as it relates to client service.
Primary Duties
Client Services
Provides support to Advisors and Portfolio Manager(s), and the Director of Client Services as it relates to client relationship building and maintenance. Tracks and processes ad hoc client requests, answers client questions and takes initiative to research and find solutions to problems and requests. Proactively communicates with clients anticipating needs to ensure seamless client service and support to the relationship. Calculates and processes Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), charitable contributions, estate distributions, etc.
Account Administration
Works with the client to open and fund accounts, using electronic processes whenever possible; ensuring that all required documentation is received and processed without error. Accurately set-up/review accounts and relationships in portfolio reporting, rebalancing, and CRM software.
Process client administrative requests; including, but not limited to, account updates or changes, distributions, deposits, transfers, etc., in an efficient and accurate manner, using electronic processes whenever possible. Review cost basis on new securities, coordinate updates with back-office provider to ensure accuracy and calculates cost basis as needed. Reconcile systems and researches cash / position / market value discrepancies. Maintain and index client files in the document management system.
Reports Administration and Quarterly Invoicing
Assists Advisor with the preparation of reports for presentation at client meetings. Participates in the quarterly billing cycle by assisting with: data auditing, statement generation and distribution to clients, and uploading of management fees to the custodian. Runs ad hoc reports as requested.
Qualifications/Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in business/finance is required. Experience in the investment industry is preferred.
- Communication involves a variety of internal and external contacts; and requires interpersonal skills to effectively deal with all types of people. A team player committed to providing excellent client service.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and requests with competing deadlines in a fast-paced and high-performance work environment.
- Expertise with portfolio management software, specifically Envestnet Tamarac, is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
